Jelly McCauley, BCBA, LBA, IBA
Jelly is a proud Filipina and Licensed Behavior Analyst based in Las Vegas. Born and raised in the Visayas region, she began her career as an educator in the Philippines and completed her undergraduate degree in Manila. A practicum focused on mainstreaming children with special needs sparked her passion for working with children on the autism spectrum and led her into special education and behavior analysis. After moving to Las Vegas, she earned her graduate degree at UNLV, where she now also teaches in the master’s program in special education, focusing on autism, functional behavior assessment, and functional communication. With more than a decade of experience, she is trained in assessments such as EFL, AFLS, PEAK, VB-MAPP, VINELAND, ABLLS-R, and ADOS-2. Her clinical work focuses on developing communication, functional academics, and habilitative skills using verbal behavior, naturalistic teaching, precision teaching, and direct instruction, supported by specialized training with the National Institute of Direct Instruction, the Performance Thinking Program by Dr. Carl Binder, and Skill-Based Treatment under Dr. Greg Hanley.
Outside of work, Jelly has always loved being outdoors and staying active. Now that she calls Las Vegas home, she enjoys spending time in nature, going on quick hikes around the city, and being with her baby, husband, and two puppies. She brings the same care, grit, and dedication she has for her own family to the children and families she serves.
